Rayna turns 1!
I can't believe that a year ago I had Rayna! She has been a complete blessing in our lives! I am so thankful to have her in my life. I feel so lucky to be her mom. I am so thankful that she is a part of our little Head family. She had a little birthday party with family. It was such a blast! I loved watching her dive into her cake and asking for more. Also when she told me she was all done. It was such a wonderful day. I am so glad that we got to celebrate her first birthday! Here are some pictures celebrating her big day!

Rayna is 11 months old!
This month nothing too exciting happened. Well unless you call Jeff going back to school exciting. We had fun seeing Jeff more over Christmas break. It will be nice when Jeff is done with school some day. Which seems a long time from now (about 5 years). Boise finally got snow. Rayna and I played in it for about 10 min before her nap. That's about all the excitement from our home.

Christmas season is upon us. It is so exciting. I just love this time of year. All the excitement getting gifts for loved ones and the anticipation of seeing family. This past year has been very good to us. We were blessed with Rayna in our lives. We are so thankful for her every day. She brings so much joy to our home and to our family. We are so excited to see what she will think of Christmas. We know that she will not remember it but it is still important to start teaching her the importance and meaning of Christmas. I love it when we talked about Jesus she gets this look of understanding or like she knows him. Its weird and hard to explain. She loves saying hi to his picture we have hanging in our home.
Jeff and I were able to attend his work Christmas party at the Sickle Sky Box. It was pretty fancy. There was sushi and an open bar. We got all dressed up and got our pictures taken. We had a great time. There was dancing and prime rib for dinner. Yum. Dessert was delicious! We had fun just going out together for a few hours. It was a good reminder that we should go on dates regularly. I am so glad and thankful for Jeff's great job. We are trully blessed.
Jeff's birthday was a good day spent in Emmett with his family. He opened presents and ate some really good cake that Momma Head made. Jeff got a riffle that he has been wanting for a while. We enjoyed the yummy dinner buffet that Jeff's family does every year. We had a good day celebrating together Jeff's birth. We spent Christmas eve in Emmett. We also spent Christmas morning with Jeff's family. We had fun watching Rayna figure out how to open presents and her excitement about her gifts. It was so much fun.
Later that day we went to Sherrie's for Christmas dinner. Christina and her family were there. Christina's parents and sister Rebbecca came from Norway. We finally got to meet them. It seemed like we had already met though. We exchanged gifts and talked while dinner was finishing up. We ate a grand meal and had a great time. Then a while after dinner we played games. It was a wonderful day. I was bummed though that we did not get to see my family. My mom was out of town visiting my sister and grandma.
The day after Christmas we went over to Sherrie's early. To say goodbye to Christina and her family. They were heading back to Utah that morning. Then around one we went to a hot springs with my family. Em and Jaren and their family came too. We had fun. Afterwards we went out to dinner to the Old Spaghetti factory. Then we went to my parents to open presents and to play some games. We had a good day. What a wonderful Christmas season it has been.

Rayna is 9 months!
It's a wonderful fall like day in November. Rayna is now 9 months old. We just got done celebrating Thanksgiving with family and friends. It was a busy holiday. We had three different Thanksgiving dinners. Rachel(Jeff's sister) came to visit for Thanksgiving. She stayed for a couple of days. We went to the discovery center and just spent some quality time together as a family. We had the Head Thanksgiving on the 23 in Emmett. Then Rachel left the following day.
We then went over to Sherrie and Johns for Thanksgiving dinner. Christina came up for the week from Provo. We ate lots of good food and just spent time together. We played games and had fun. Sherrie's brother and his family were there too. Then later that night we went over to the Luker's for pie. Let me tell you, there was tons of pie!
Then on Saturday we had Thanksgiving with my family. We had good food and then played games. Then we went and spent some more time with Christina before she left on Sunday. It has been such a wonderful Thanksgiving week. We have been truly blessed. We are so Thankful for our many blessings and all those we can share them with.

Rayna is 8 months!
This month Rayna turned 8 months! I can't believe it. It is so crazy to think. This month is October. We had fun celebrating Rayna's first Halloween together. We all dressed up and had fun. We decided that Ray was going to be a monkey because she loves bananas and monkeys. At the last min. we decided to be super hero's. So Ray became a super monkey. Jeff was Thor and I was wonder women. So Jeff wanted his beard dyed. So I got to dye his beard. It was long night and it took forever to do but he liked it.
On the 14th we volunteered at the zoo for Jeff's work. We were in charge of the fishing booth. Here little kids tossed the fishing pole over a screen and someone behind the screen would put a bag of candy on their line and then tug. They would then pull up their line and see what they caught. It was pretty fun. We were doing this for kids who have cancer or have survived cancer. We saw my friend Marie( my doula and zumba instructor) and her family there. Their daughter has been a brain cancer survivor for 5 years. It was a fun night. Rayna had her first ride on an merry go round.

Rayna is 7 months!
This month has slowed down some for us. It started off with us saying goodbye to our 2007 Dodge Caliber. We decided that it was time for a new car that was ''ours". We fell in love with a 2004 XC70 Volvo station wagon. It's a great car. It is very luxurious and makes us feel spoiled. It gives us more room and it is all wheel drive. We are excited to be new car owners. We also went on a little family trip to Cascade. We went with Grandma and Grandpa. Uncle JW went with us too. We stayed in our friends cabin. We relaxed, played games and went jet skiing. Rayna went on her first canoe ride. We had a great weekend!
Rayna is 6 Months!
This has been a busy month for Rayna. Well I guess us too. We went camping at Redfish Lake the beginning of this month. We went for a couple of days to the Sayer family reunion. It was a blast! It was great and a little different because we had to make adjustments for little Rayna. It seemed like she was eating and sleeping the whole time! I am glad that this was a great and fun vacation. Rayna turned 6 months old on the 10th. She is at that stage where she "flirts" a lot. It is pretty cute. She likes to talk to people in her own little way of coarse. She started saying Mama and Dada all the time. Her first word was Dada of coarse. She is daddy's little girl all the way. She is sitting like a pro and attempting to crawl. It's crazy how fast she is growing! She also went swimming for the first time. She loved it!
